The 3-inch Equal Length Pipe is the perfect retrofit solution for all owners of a GRAIL valve-controlled exhaust system in their BMW M3/M4 F8x. Specifically designed for models with removable channels to the rear silencer, it ensures optimized exhaust flow and an even smoother sound.

Important Notes:

Only compatible with our GRAIL valve-controlled exhaust system
Fits only GRAIL exhaust systems with removable channels to the rear silencer
Retrofit solution – not the entire exhaust system, but only the center piping + a new, louder channel with a valve.
ECE compliant when used with the GRAIL exhaust system

3-inch Equal Length Design compensates for the length differences between the two downpipe banks of the S55 engine

Scope of Delivery: New center piping, new channel with valve, four clamps for the piping

High-quality stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance
Precisely manufactured components for a perfect fit

Advantages of the Equal Length Design:

Equal length exhaust paths reduce pressure differences between the cylinder banks
Ensures more consistent pulse frequencies and thus a more harmonious sound (naturally aspirated characteristic)
Optimized exhaust flow for improved flow dynamics
Sporty, clear sound without disruptive interference

Function and everyday usability:

The equal-length design compensates for the different lengths of the S55 engine's exhaust pipes. The result is a smoother, sportier sound and optimized exhaust dynamics – while remaining ECE-compliant and fully usable in everyday driving.

Note: This is a retrofit kit for existing GRAIL valve-controlled exhaust systems, not a complete exhaust system.
